The song “Blue Silent Night”
Crossover, alternative and pop-rock influences characterise this year’s contest song, “Blue Silent Night”. An outstanding female lead vocalist, heavy drums, atmospheric keys, massive guitars and a thick bass are waiting for you to turn them into a convincing mix or remix. It’s fun and it’s worth it 🙂
As always, the contest song was written and produced by HOFA CEO Jochen Sachse.

Hallo! Was für eine Freude, diesen Titel zu entdecken! Vielen Dank für das vorgezogene Geschenk! Die Aufnahmen sind voller Energie und Konzentration. Großartige Arbeit … wunderschöne Komposition. Danke!
Hello friends, I’m a singer, songwriter, composer, and music producer from Peru (South America), and I’m very happy to participate in the remix and mixing contest. Now I’ll be able to test my talent by comparing my work with that of other international contestants. Congratulations on this initiative, and best regards.
Good morning, I downloaded the multitrack of the song, but I can’t find the hi-hat track in the downloaded files, which I see is included in the drum recording tutorial videos. The hi-hat part is very important in the song. Was it removed intentionally, or is it a mistake? Thanks.
Hey Massimo! Thank you for your comment and well spotted 🙂 The hi-hat is loud enough on the overhead track, so the hi-hat support microphone is not needed for the mix. Consequently, we did not include it in the download folder in order to keep the number of tracks as clear as possible. Have fun mixing and best regards!
ok I’ll try to do without… thanks
Hi everybody.
Good idea, this mixing contest. I will wait the end to listen the other’s music result ..
best regards
