There are no admission requirements for the DIPLOMA programme at HOFA-College. All you need is a PC or Mac and an interest in audio engineering and music production.
To start the one-year bachelor top-up programme after your AUDIO DIPLOMA, you need at least a certificate of intermediate education (e.g. UK GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education)). In exceptional cases, admission without a certificate of intermediate education is also possible – please contact us directly.
Yes, you can complete both the DIPLOMA programme and the Bachelor Top-Up entirely from home. There are no mandatory on-site classes. You will also take all exams and even the bachelor’s thesis from home.
The one-year top-up programme by the Triagon Academy builds on the HOFA AUDIO DIPLOMA course and enables you to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering & Music Production. During this year, you will focus on audio engineering topics from a scientific perspective and specialize with own projects.
You will complete your Bachelor’s degree with our partner institution, the Triagon Academy as a face-to-face online course.
This way, you will be optimally prepared for your bachelor’s thesis with live webinars, practical assignments and self-study on the learning platform.
Yes, while you’re attending the one-year bachelor’s programme, you’ll still benefit from all the advantages of your DIPLOMA course. So you can still access all your course content, ask our support on any audio engineering related questions, use all HOFA plugins and take part in studio workshops. It is therefore important that you first register for the bachelor’s programme on our website. We will then send you all further information about getting enrolled at the Triagon Academy.
At the HOFA-College, you will receive certificates for all completed courses. During your course, you will achieve the Audio Assistant, Audio Engineer and finally the Audio Engineering DIPLOMA. You can also specialize in different areas and obtain further expert certificates.
The top-up study programme concludes with the internationally recognised Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Creative Media (Audio Engineering).
