Mastering Tutorial: Optimal Stereo Width With Skillful EQing

In the mixing and mastering process, widening the stereo image is an effective way to make a production sound bigger. This is often done by making the side signals louder across the full frequency range. As a result, however, the mix may lose clarity and definition.
