How much time should I plan for the course?
Depending on your previous knowledge in audio engineering & music production and your personal learning goals you should plan 5-10 hours per week for this course.
Many of our students complete the HOFA online courses parallel to their job.
If I decide to do the DIPLOMA course later, will this course count towards my degree?
When do I have to take which exams?
Technical requirements
You will need a PC or Mac, as well as studio headphones or, optionally, a Dolby Atmos setup.
Any of the following audio software (DAW) can be used to complete the online course:
Apple Logic Pro | Avid Pro Tools | Steinberg Cubase | Steinberg Nuendo | Fender Studio Pro
You can complete the course using another DAW of your choice. However, please be aware that you may need additional 3D rendering software.
